Stephanee’s Corner – The Duck Couple
So here I am with my hubby. Camoed out and wearing a duck dynasty hoodie. It was a gorgeous day for duck hunting! And I’m just happy to be outside. Away from the city!!
I can’t remember if it was my 1st duck hunt, but I remember all too well that the ducks were not flying! Time after time watching them far off in the distance. The hunters on the other side of the public land weren’t helping either.
No ducks for 2 out of 3 of us. 1 of the boys got lucky by stumbling on one while walking through the marsh, but I’m pretty sure that was it. Oh well, fresh air, the call of ducks, and time with my hubby.
This picture reminds me of how mad I was that I didn’t have my chance at some ducks. But it reminds me of the time I got to spend outside in beautiful nature with my soulmate. I have no idea what my face was doing, but my heart was joyful for the hunt.
